Description

Seo-yoon is an Epic Marksman with the Growth subclass, supporting both fighting pace and recovery between battles. Her drum-based hero skill briefly raises allied Attack and Attack Speed, while her Expedition kit combines troop Attack support with faster infirmary healing. Those effects serve different jobs: Soothing Dance is a city recovery bonus, not an in-battle group heal.

Hero Recruitment is one listed shard source. Once she is unlocked, Epic General Hero Shards can support her promotion. She belongs to the starting roster; this catalog retains its G1 grouping for Epic starters rather than treating her as a later numbered Legendary release. Evaluate her for the role you need, whether that is battle support, a rally contribution or infirmary efficiency.

How her rhythm affects hero battles

  • A short allied boost: Heartbeat of Valor increases Attack and Attack Speed for all allied heroes and troops for four seconds. Both values have separate progressions; the Attack percentage should not be reused as the Attack Speed value.
  • Direct target damage: Bullseye Bash deals Attack-scaled damage with a thrown drumstick. No stun or healing effect is included in its listed description.
  • Attack Speed that builds during the fight: Gale’s Pulse grants an Attack Speed increase after every three basic attacks, lasting until that battle ends. It rewards time spent attacking; a short fight may offer fewer activations.

Rallying Beat versus Soothing Dance

Rallying Beat increases troop Attack by 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25%. This is an Attack-stat bonus. It should not be labeled as the same damage-dealt modifier offered by heroes such as Jessie or Jasser.

Soothing Dance increases Healing Speed in the infirmary by 10% / 20% / 30% / 40% / 50%. It concerns the healing process after troops are wounded. Do not count it as an Arena heal, a troop Health increase or the same percentage cut to a healing timer. Check the actual infirmary timer and applicable requirements in-game.

Where Seo-yoon fits

UsePractical assessment
Arena and ExplorationTest her temporary allied buffs, direct damage and attack-rate growth with your current formation. Keep expectations tied to the length and outcome of the fight.
Joining a rallyThe first Expedition skill of your first-slot hero is eligible for selected rally support. Seo-yoon offers Rallying Beat in this role, so follow the leader’s requested Attack-support plan and skill level.
Your own Expedition march or rally-leading squadRallying Beat provides combat support. Soothing Dance serves infirmary recovery and should not be counted as a second offensive troop skill.
Infirmary recoveryDevelop Soothing Dance if its Healing Speed benefit addresses a recurring need. Compare the displayed healing queue time rather than assuming a level-5 bonus halves it.

Skill development priorities

Editorial recommendation: prioritize Rallying Beat when Seo-yoon’s main role is offensive rally support. Prioritize Soothing Dance when infirmary recovery is the reason you are developing her. A high development bonus does not automatically make her your strongest combat Marksman.

For Arena and Exploration, Heartbeat of Valor is the team-support skill to examine first. Bullseye Bash supplies direct damage, while Gale’s Pulse is more relevant when she completes repeated basic attacks. Keep the first skill’s four-second team buff separate from Gale’s Pulse, whose Attack Speed increase lasts to the end of the battle.

For active recovery during hero battles, Patrick is one option to compare with the rest of your team.

Heartbeat of Valor

In hero battles, increases Attack and Attack Speed for all allied heroes and troops for 4 seconds. Each level lists the Attack bonus followed by the Attack Speed bonus. Bullseye Bash

Deals the listed percentage of Seo-yoon’s Attack as damage to a target. Levels 1–5: 150% / 165% / 180% / 195% / 210%.

Gale's Pulse

After every 3 basic attacks, grants Seo-yoon the listed Attack Speed increase. The increase lasts until the end of the battle. Levels 1–5: 1% / 2% / 3% / 4% / 5%.
