Description
Seigel is a Generation 16 Legendary Infantry hero whose protection comes with a deliberate offensive trade-off. He earned his place in the Night’s Guard by rescuing Viveca’s patrol from an ambush. His memories of life before the mist are damaged, but his commitment to the soldiers beside him is clear. The spikes on his armor suit a fighter who would rather absorb danger himself than leave his companions exposed.
A protected opening and damage reflection
Spike Guard raises Seigel’s Defense and returns part of the damage he receives to his attackers for five seconds. At skill level 5, both the Defense increase and the reflected share are 25%. Its value comes from combining protection with a response to incoming attacks.
Cursed Protection adds damage reduction and an opening period of immunity to negative effects. At level 5, the damage reduction is 20%, and the immunity covers the first ten seconds of battle. This gives his opening position particular importance when the enemy team relies on early disruption.
Spear of the Moon provides two differently shaped attacks: a forward line followed by a fan-shaped sweep. At level 5, each deals 60% of Seigel’s Attack to enemies in its area. Positioning determines which enemies fall inside each shape.
Editorial recommendation: assess Seigel as a front-line protector alongside the damage dealers behind him. Watch whether his opening immunity and five-second reflection window give the rest of the team time to act. His kit offers more than a large Health pool, so a useful comparison includes the enemy’s early control and the pressure placed on his position.
Expedition: reducing the enemy’s offensive strength
| Skill | Level-5 effect |
|---|---|
| Armor of Night | All friendly troops gain 25% Health |
| Night’s Defense | Friendly Infantry lose 20% Attack; enemy Lancers and Marksmen lose 35% Attack |
| Vanguard of Eternity | Seigel’s Infantry take 25% less normal-attack damage and 30% less skill damage |
Night’s Defense is an exchange, not a free Attack bonus. The friendly Infantry Attack penalty is part of the skill, while the larger enemy penalty applies specifically to Lancers and Marksmen. This makes Seigel’s troop kit especially relevant when reducing incoming pressure is more important than maximizing the Infantry’s own offensive stat.
Armor of Night supports the entire formation. Vanguard of Eternity is narrower: it protects his Infantry and distinguishes normal attacks from skills. The two reductions belong to separate damage categories and should be read separately. These troop effects operate independently of the spike reflection and opening immunity in hero battles.
Blacklight Halberd exclusive weapon
Inhuman Cast adds self-healing to Spike Guard: while the effect is active, Seigel restores Health based on damage dealt, reaching 25% at the highest listed effect. Hell’s Vow increases Defender Troops’ Lethality by up to 15%, adding a defending formation’s offensive benefit to his protection-focused kit.
Acquisition and reference values
King of Icefield, State of Power, Hero Rally and Foundry Shop are among Seigel’s acquisition routes, subject to state progression and current rewards. Mythic General Hero Shards can develop him after recruitment. He needs 10 shards to unlock and 1,065 more across the five promotion stages, for 1,075 in total.
The displayed hero and weapon figures are reference values. His Infantry Attack and Defense are 2,131.70% each.
