Description
Jeronimo is a Generation 1 Legendary Infantry hero built around offense. In hero battles he combines a three-hit sword sequence with area damage; in Expedition he strengthens the whole army. That distinction matters: troop damage and attack bonuses drive his rally value, while a separate skill set determines what he does in the Arena.
His kit suits a player looking for an aggressive frontline hero who also has a realistic shard plan. VIP Packs are a listed acquisition route. Mythic General Hero Shards cannot be exchanged for his shards. Check the packs and requirements available on your account before investing; being listed in the hero catalog does not mean a hero is available without spending.
Jeronimo’s strengths
- Whole-army support: Battle Manifesto and Swordmentor affect all troop types. Being an Infantry hero does not restrict these two effects to Infantry.
- Pressure on multiple targets: Combo Slash covers an area, while Sword Art hits a rectangle directly ahead. Positioning relative to enemy heroes therefore matters.
- Offense at high health: Lone Wolf rewards keeping Jeronimo above half HP. Compare results with suitable team support.
Limitations and development cost
- Shard access: base your upgrade plan on sources you can actually use, rather than assuming the next stars will be easy to obtain.
- Conditional hero-battle bonus: at 50% health or below, the Lone Wolf condition is no longer met. This skill does not heal him.
- Separate game modes: Exploration and Expedition manuals and skills serve different purposes. Build the set that matches where you actually use him.
Where to use him
| Mode | Role and practical advice |
|---|---|
| Arena and Exploration | An offensive frontline option with area damage. Test survival and positioning; a high attack value alone does not guarantee a win. |
| Expedition and rally leadership | His kit supports the entire army’s damage. Evaluate it alongside the leader’s stats and other heroes. |
| Joining a rally | Battle Manifesto is his first Expedition skill. Its contribution follows rally participant skill-selection rules; do not assume every joiner contributes all three skills. |
Skill development priorities
Editorial recommendation: if you mainly use Jeronimo for rallies, start with Battle Manifesto. When leading your own rally, develop Swordmentor and Expert Swordsmanship as well. For Arena and Exploration, look at Combo Slash first, then prioritize Sword Art and Lone Wolf according to your battle results. This is a use-case recommendation, rather than a universal ranking for every account.
The skill cards contain the level values. Expert Swordsmanship raises damage for 2 turns every 4 turns; it is not described as a stun.
Talent and exclusive weapon
Natural Leader increases all troops’ Lethality and Health by 3% / 6% / 9% / 12% / 15%.
Dawnbreak has two separate effects. At skill level 5, Shield of Swords reduces Jeronimo’s damage taken while attacking by 30% in hero battles. At skill level 5, Discernment increases Rally Troops’ Attack by 15%. Do not transfer these effects between Arena and Expedition.
Reading the stats and shard table
The figures on this page are published reference values. Treat them neither as a newly unlocked hero’s stats nor as a guaranteed result for your account. The shard table shows successive upgrade stages; recruitment costs 20 shards and must not be counted twice.
