Description

Hank is a Generation 15 Legendary Infantry hero whose damage also helps keep him alive. An Icebreaker Alliance pioneer, he turns construction tools into weapons and studies Arena fights with the enthusiasm of a dedicated spectator. Away from combat, the same hands carve figures from wood and ice and prepare desserts. That contrast suits his kit: the circular saw is both an offensive tool and the engine of his personal recovery.

Damage and recovery work together

Frenzied Slashes strikes twice at enemies in front of Hank. At skill level 5, each slash deals damage equal to 160% of his Attack, and the attack reduces affected enemies’ Defense by 30% for two seconds. The Defense reduction creates a short opportunity for follow-up damage from the team.

Recycle & Reuse converts a share of Hank’s damage dealt into healing for himself. The conversion rises from 10% to 30% across the five skill levels. Its healing therefore follows the damage he produces, rather than acting as a fixed team-wide recovery pulse. Keeping him active and able to hit enemies is an important part of evaluating his durability.

Urgent Energy activates once per battle when Hank falls below 50% Health. It increases his Attack, reaching 30% at level 5. This gives his low-Health phase a different offensive profile from the opening exchange. The trigger is below half Health; the bonus is not simply part of his starting Attack.

Editorial recommendation: compare Hank’s survival alongside the damage he is actually dealing. Watch the two slashes, the following Defense-reduction window and his recovery after taking a heavy hit. A lineup that gives him time to act can make better use of his damage-to-healing relationship than one in which he is overwhelmed before contributing.

Expedition support reaches beyond Infantry

SkillLevel-5 effect
Roaring RageAll friendly troops gain 25% Lethality
Flying SparksEvery five Infantry attacks, all friendly troops deal 25% more damage and take 25% less damage for two turns
Raging ForceEvery four turns, enemy Infantry take 30% more damage and enemy Marksmen deal 30% less damage for two turns

Flying Sparks distinguishes the activating class from the beneficiaries: Infantry attacks trigger the effect, while the whole friendly formation receives it. Raging Force instead names opposing troop classes and applies two different penalties. Its Infantry effect increases incoming damage; its Marksman effect reduces outgoing damage.

These schedules use different counters. Flying Sparks counts Infantry attacks, while Raging Force follows a four-turn cycle. Roaring Rage changes Lethality, which remains a separate attribute from the damage-dealt and damage-taken effects in the other skills.

Roaring Rage: the exclusive weapon

Hank’s exclusive weapon shares its name with his first Expedition skill. Steel Barricade gives him a three-second shield when he uses Frenzied Slashes. At its highest listed effect, the shield absorbs an amount equal to 220% of Attack. This ties his protective window to the same skill that performs the two frontal strikes.

Wall of Despair increases Defender Troops’ Health, reaching 15% at its highest listed effect. That defender benefit belongs to Expedition; Steel Barricade and damage-based self-healing operate in hero battles. Use the appropriate mode when comparing the weapon’s contribution.

Acquisition and development

Hall of Heroes and Foundry Shop are listed acquisition routes, with availability depending on state progression and current rewards. Mythic General Hero Shards can develop Hank after he is recruited. Recruitment requires 10 shards, followed by 1,065 across the five promotion stages, totaling 1,075 from locked to five stars.

The displayed hero and weapon figures are reference values. Hank’s Infantry Attack and Defense are 1,961.56% each.
