Description
Edith is a Generation 7 Legendary Infantry hero who fights alongside Mr. Tin, the mechanical guardian she learned to repair. Their relationship gives the character more warmth than a typical armored tank: he protected her as a baby, and she grew into the engineer who keeps him working. In battle, their kit combines brief control, chance-based protection and a weapon-assisted emergency repair.
Mr. Tin in hero battles
Ironclad Punch hits enemies in a fan-shaped area ahead and stuns them for one second. At skill level 5, it deals damage equal to 140% of Attack and raises Mr. Tin’s Attack by 100% for two seconds. The stun and Attack buff have different durations; neither lasts for the rest of the battle.
Preemptive Alerts gives a chance to halve incoming damage. Skill levels improve that chance from 10% to 50%, while the reduction itself remains 50%. A level-5 skill therefore does not mean every incoming hit is automatically halved.
Escape Capsule activates when Mr. Tin reaches zero Health and damages nearby enemies. Its level-5 damage is 280% of Attack. The escape animation and story should not be read as a promised revival: the listed combat effect is the explosion, not a second full Health bar.
Editorial recommendation: when comparing Edith with another Arena or Exploration frontliner, examine whether her team gains useful time from the stun and protection before Mr. Tin falls. Repeat the comparison rather than judging one favorable damage-reduction sequence. The final explosion is a last contribution, not a reason to ignore survival.
Expedition support differs by troop class
| Skill | Affected troops | Level-5 effect |
|---|---|---|
| Strategic Balance | Friendly Marksmen and Lancers | Marksmen take 20% less damage; Lancers deal 20% more damage |
| Ironclad | Friendly Infantry | 20% less damage taken |
| Steel Sentinel | All friendly troops | 25% more Health |
Edith’s Infantry classification does not limit her Expedition support to Infantry. Strategic Balance protects Marksmen and improves Lancer damage, while Ironclad covers the frontline troop class. Those class labels matter when evaluating a formation.
Damage reduction, increased damage dealt and Health are different effects. Do not merge them into one Defense statistic or add the two class-specific reductions into a universal 40% reduction. These troop effects also do not change Preemptive Alerts into a guaranteed Arena defense.
Charm Toolkit and emergency repair
Pocket Engineer triggers once per battle when Mr. Tin first drops below 50% Health. At weapon skill level 5, it restores Health equal to 35% of his maximum and raises Defense by 30% until the battle ends. The healing amount uses maximum Health, not missing Health, and the one-use restriction rules out a repeated repair every time the threshold is crossed.
Fortworks increases Defender Troops’ Health by 15% at skill level 5. This Expedition benefit is separate from Pocket Engineer’s hero-battle repair and from Steel Sentinel’s general troop Health bonus. No combined effective-Health formula is assumed.
Acquisition and reference figures
The English acquisition list includes Hall of Chiefs, King of Icefield, State of Power, Daily Deals and Hero Rally. Check the current rewards in your state rather than assuming all routes offer Edith at the same time.
She needs 10 shards to recruit and another 1,065 across the five promotion stages, totaling 1,075 from locked to five stars. Her displayed Infantry Attack and Defense are 650.52% each. The hero and weapon figures below are reference values; development conditions are not fully specified, so they should not be treated as the stats of a newly unlocked Edith.
