Description

Dominic is a Generation 14 Legendary Lancer whose stage tricks become stuns, burning attacks and a once-per-battle return after reaching zero Health. Mia invited the inventive illusionist into her caravan, giving him the resources to pursue increasingly elaborate performances. His boxes and concealed devices also protect the travelers from ambushes. What began as a wish to create the perfect trick for his absent father eventually became a pursuit he valued for its own sake.

The disappearing act has limits

Double Trouble activates when Dominic’s Health reaches zero. He disappears, then reappears in a magical box five seconds later with a listed share of Health. That return value rises from 10% to 50% across the five skill levels, and the effect can occur only once per battle.

This is not an instant full recovery or a repeatable source of extra lives. The five-second absence is part of the mechanic.

Editorial recommendation: assess what Dominic contributes both before and after his return. Watch the remaining allies and opponents during the delay, then compare his second period of activity rather than treating the listed Health percentage as an equivalent permanent durability bonus.

A punch, a stun and a burning rose

Box Trick summons three boxes around the target for area damage and a one-second stun. The listed damage coefficient reaches 280% of Attack at level 5.

Scorching Roses has a direct hit and a separate burn. At level 5, the hit deals 140% of Attack, while the burn deals 12% of Attack every half-second for two seconds. Keeping those parts separate avoids mistaking the burn coefficient for the whole attack.

Different troop classes receive different support

Expedition skillLevel-5 effect
Mystic MechanismAll friendly troops deal 20% more damage
Spiky AssaultFriendly Lancer attacks deal 60% extra damage; the target takes 25% more damage for one turn
Mirror MazeFriendly Infantry and Marksmen take 15% less damage and deal 15% more damage

Spiky Assault focuses on your Lancers and leaves a target-vulnerability effect. Mirror Maze supports your Infantry and Marksmen instead, so it should not be presented as another Lancer-only bonus. Mystic Mechanism covers the whole formation.

The increased damage taken by a poisoned target is distinct from direct extra damage on a Lancer attack. Keep their beneficiary groups and timing visible when comparing a march rather than reducing the kit to one added percentage.

Exobox

Illusion Mastery increases Dominic’s own damage dealt, reaching 25% at weapon skill level 5. That is an Exploration damage modifier, not a 25% Attack-stat increase for every allied hero.

Grand Fantasy increases Rally Troops’ Lethality by 15% at skill level 5. Lethality should retain its own name rather than being rewritten as an equal Attack or direct-damage bonus. The weapon’s two effects belong to different battle modes.

Acquisition and development

Listed acquisition routes include Hall of Chiefs, King of Icefield, State of Power, Daily Deals, Hero Rally and Foundry Shop. Availability depends on state progression and current rewards. Recruitment needs 10 shards, with another 1,065 across all five promotion stages, for a total of 1,075.

Dominic’s displayed Lancer Attack and Defense are 1,791.43% each. Hero and weapon stats on this page are reference values.
